A Great Week

Hello Parents,
I can't believe it's been two weeks already since I first met your children.  We have had such a busy couple of weeks.  We finished learning about transportation and will move on to Spring, eggs, and St. Patrick's Day.  We had a wonderful time celebrating Women In History Week at MATES and hearing about many famous women from the 5th graders.  The transportation projects turned out amazing.  The students loved sharing them and we had a museum on Thursday where they got to get up close to all the projects and Mrs. Glazer and Mrs. Roll's classes also came through to view the projects.  I have included some pictures.  I am so proud of your children for all the progress they have made these past two weeks.  Mrs. Coulter will be back on Monday and will continue until Mrs. Gavin returns. The letter of the week will be the long /e/ sound and the sight word is come.
