I look forward to each day as my Kindergarteners grow, create, and imagine. Our classroom is a place where we learn together and from each other. This blog will follow us and our learning adventures this year!

School is just beginning...

It was great to meet you at the Back to School Bash and I’ve enjoyed these first days with your little ones.  I’m looking forward to a school year filled with fun, wonder, and growth.

What a wonderful start to the school year! This week we met new friends, toured the school, found ourselves at home in Room 18 and started getting into the Kindergarten groove!  Here are some of the activities we’ve been so busy working on this week!

Snip, snip!

We read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, a story about some letters climbing up a tree! As we explored with magnetic letters, name puzzles, and sang catchy alphabet songs, we learned how letters can make up words and names.

Here’s one of the alphabet songs we are learning!

Using magnetic letters to make words, names, and of course the alphabet!
