Last week of Kindergarten...

We had a wonderful last week in Kindergarten!  Here are a few pictures from this week!

Triathalon Tuesday with Mr. Gavin

On Thoughtful Thursday, we made Father's Day cards, parent presents and these awesome masks!

On Fun Free Dress Feast Friday, we enjoyed looking at our Memory Books.

Mammals, reptiles, amphibians...oh my!

We continued with the Three Little Pigs this week and the kids wrote letters to the Big Bad Wolf!  They had a lot to say and a lot to ask him.  He wrote a letter back to them telling them there's no excuses for being bad and he was so sorry!

They used 3D shapes to build a strong house!  The Big Bad Wolf came to visit and tried to blow down their houses but couldn't!  The houses were built very well!

We learned about animal classification and wrote facts about mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and birds. We had fun researching some of our favorites!

Cooper wrote about reptiles and drew a black mamba!

Eden wrote about fish and drew a puffer fish!

We have a lot to say about K!

For this speech bubble project, the students wrote their own quotes about Kindergarten!
In our Trader MATES' produce bags, we made veggies and wrote what part of the plant it is and where it grows.

Down on the farm we made our own animals in Room 18!
To go along with one of our favorite stories, Click, Clack, Moo! we recreated characters using Q-tips and tempura paint.
